Jindal Vidya Mandir Vasind was founded in 1989 under the aegis of Jindal Education Trust with the motto “Excel Through Education”. The main objective of Jindal Vidya Mandir is to promote quality education & the overall growth of the children. It is managed by JSW Foundation under the dynamic leadership of Mrs. Sangita Jindal. It was started with only three standards, following the State Board Syllabus. At present, the school has a strength of 1600 students from classes Head Start to XII.

It is an English medium co-educational institution affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE Affiliation No. 1130090).

Jindal Vidya Mandir is an effort towards providing a physical, social, traditional and academic atmosphere similar to the education available in metros. The primary aim is to develop within students the qualities of integrity, honesty, trust, tolerance and compassion, thereby promoting awareness to foster a scientific temperament within the bounds of humanism, helping students to become a meaningful part of their environment, and to see that their courage has due rewards.
