Jindal Vidya Mandir lays great emphasis on providing adequate opportunities for the all-round development of its students. JVM has made phenomenal progress and the school can boast of its infrastructure, its campus and rich modern facilities.
School Campus
The school campus consists of 7 acres of lush green premises. It is well appreciated for its architectural design and lush green environ away from hustle & bustle of the main city.
School Building
The school building of Jindal Vidya Mandir, Vidyanagar has been aesthetically designed to give it a contemporary, stylish and international look. It is a huge building within a sprawling seven-acre campus
Classroom
The school has interactive class rooms fitted with LCD projectors, white boards and flannel boards to provide an ideal sanctum for academic progress to take place. Classrooms are very spacious and well-ventilated.
School Auditorium
Situated on the topmost floor of our main building, the school auditorium is equipped with the most modern and state-of-the-art audio-visual facilities and has a massive seating capacity of approximately 450. The sound-proof auditorium hosts numerous events, including graduation ceremonies, house nights, annual day and award functions, inter-school and intra-school competitions, plays and dances, to name just a few. Many more events are on the anvil, which continue to make the auditorium the cynosure of all eyes.
Smart Classes
We have introduced ‘Smart Class ‘Program developed by Educomp Solutions Ltd. The purpose of the Smart class program is to empower teachers with technology right inside their classrooms. The program enables the teachers to use digital resources such as graphics, animations, 3D images and video clips in addition to the completely new multi-sensory learning experience for students and helps them to improve their academic performance.
V-SAT Program
To prepare students for various entrance exams like CET/ AIEEE/APMT, The School has started providing the coaching facility through Edurite on-line VSAT Coaching – on payment basis from August 2011, for class 11 and 12.
The course comprises study material, coaching, testing and feed back with analysis.
Edurite (Pearson Education Services India) is helping us in this endeavor by:
- Deploying IT Infrastructure on campus for AIEEE/ CET/IIT- JEEE coaching.
- Providing study material to support coaching.
- Providing on line / offline test conducted for every unit.
Doubt clearing sessions through e mail and chat support, timely visit of faculty to our school premise during the program for student interactive session are other salient features of the program.
Student Assistance
To help our students get a better understanding of the subject topics they are being taught, teachers set out extra hours after regular school hours. During this time period, the students have the opportunity to interact with the teacher on a one-on-one basis. This helps the students clear any doubts, and helps acquire a proper understanding of the topic being taught.
