ANNUAL REPORT 2022-23

At Jindal Vidya Mandir, we believe that every child has a lot of potential, and that potential can help accomplish wonders. We believe that the future of the world starts here. The Academic Year 2022- 23 was a great year, and considered it a moment of pride to share all the achievements and development that the School, Staff and Students undertook.
The school currently has a strength of 615 students, in Pre-Primary, Primary, Secondary and Senior Secondary Department with 45 Academic and Administrative Staff including 2 Office Staff and 6 Supportive Staff.
Felt proud to mention that in the current Academic Year we received ISO Certification for our school under the guidance of Ms Savita and Ms Anita.
Excellence in academics is the hallmark of a good institution and the STD X result of the school proved without any doubt that our students who have appeared in exams made
us proud with their 100 % Board Results. Proud to mention here that Mas Sahil Rajwadkar was the Class Topper of Std. X with 92 .6%.
Teachers Empowerment Programs:
“Teachers are also learners.” Staying updated is the key to success in any field, especially, in education. Our teachers constantly strive to stay updated by attending workshops & various training Programs.
• Proud to mention that 02 teachers Mr Victor and Mr Deepak have completed the
course for Inclusive Education sponsored by JET under the COE program of
Tamanna School Karnataka.
• 70 % teachers have attended Online CBSE Trainings.
• Ms Achala, Ms Sanju, Mr Victor, Ms Farin and Mr Mahajan attended the Integrated
Teachers Training Academy held at Bellary.
JVM Pre-Primary Department:
In Pre-Primary Dept. Seven Intra School Competitions like Colouring, Hindi and English Recitation, Fashion Show, Fancy Dress, Action Song and Prop Rock were conducted in this year.
Total Seventeen Celebrations have been organised like Children’s Day, Ganpati, Diwali & Navaratri festivals, Grand Birthday celebration etc.
Seven Theme Presentation Activities have been conducted on rainy season, winter season, summer season, plant world, animal world, community helpers, transport etc. Under the guidance of Ms Urmila and Pre-Primary Team.
2 Competitive Exams Achievements:
The competition should not only among the fellow students of JVM. They need to extend their boundaries.
From our school, Total 124 students had participated in International Math Olympiad, 72 in National Science Olympiad, 5 in International GK Olympiad and 6 in International English Olympiad Proud to mention the achievements —-Ms Yuktashri, Std 1st got 1st Rank at Zonal, Regional and International Level in International Maths Olympiad conducted by SOF by scoring 40 out of 40 marks. Mas Harshit Singh of Std 9th secured 4th Rank at Zonal, Regional and International Level in International Maths Olympiad by scoring 59 marks out of 60. We also encourage our students to appear in ART Elementary and Intermediate exams conducted by the State Government.
Total 14 students had appeared in Art Intermediate exam, out of them 2 students are in Grade A, 7 are in Grade B and 5 are in Grade C respectively.
In Art Elementary Exam, Total 7 students had appeared, out of them 2 are in Grade A and 5 are in Grade B.
Sports Events:
Games and sports help in building a sense of cooperation, discipline and team-spirit in an individual. Ample opportunities were provided to our students to play and prove their mettle in various sports and games at school, cluster, regional national and international level competitions.
This year, total 7 In-house Sports Groups events including Football, Volleyball, Throwball, Cricket, Tug of War and 15 Individual sports events including races, mix relays, shotput, discuss throw etc. were conducted House-wise on Sports Day and proud to mention that Sameer House stood first with 263 points. As per our practices, we have given opportunity to each student for participation in all the individual Sports event and the sports day was organized by Student Council Members under the guidance of teachers.
Sports Achievements:
Ms Kirti Kurte stood 3rd in 400m and 600m race at District Level Athletics Competitions. Mas Manas Kolge stood 1st in 80 m race at District Level,
Under 19 boy’s category, four students stood 2nd in 400m relay race at District level. The athletes were – Sahil Bane, Karan Chavan, Manas Kolge and Ayush Velankar.
Under 14 Girls Category, Basketball Team qualified up to District Level and played District Level match at Satara.
Under 17 Girls Category, Football Team qualified up to District Level and played District Level Match at Dervan under the guidance of Mr Ranjit, Mr Vinod and Ms Mithila.
Co-curricular Activities:
To provide encouraging environment, the students are mentored to participate in a variety of intra and interschool competitions. It enables the student to grow confidence, knowledge & enhance their all-round development. The achievement in Co-curricular activities are–
Ms Anshika Tiwari of Std 8th stood 1st at District Level Elocution competition held at Navnirman High School Ratnagiri.
Arundhati Bhopale, Hrishikesh Jadhav and Shreenath Shinde got the Bronze Medals from IAYP under the guidance of Mr Vinod. They also organized a full day camp for Grade 10th students as a part of IAYP Activity.
Ms Juhi Gadre stood 2nd and Ms Ananya Gadre got consolation prize at District Level Story Telling Competition conducted by JSW CSR Dept.
Ms Krutika of std 9th got Kala Gaurav Award for Excellent Handwriting, Ms Kavya Verma received award for excellent colouring and Ms Iqra Mujawar received Excellent Esaay Award conducted by National Handwriting, Essay and Colouring Contest 21.
Ms Megha Vinod of Std 8th stood 2nd at Taluka Level Drawing competition.
Other Activities and Achievements:
1. Mountaineering Camp- Ten students along with two teachers Mr Deepak Daradi & Ms Manisha Malap attended the 15 days camp of Atal Bihari Vajpayee Mountaineering at Manali. It was an amazing experience for the students as well as teachers.
2. Scout and Guide – Sara Mirkar and Iqra Mujawar from Grade 7 appeared in Scout and Guide Rajya Puraskar Exam at Kolhapur.
Seven girls of Grade VI along with Guide Ms Nilam Kadam attended Inernational Cultural Event of Scout and Guide at Jamboore, Karnataka where 55,000 students had taken part.
The Indian Ministry of Cultural Dept. had conducted Patriotic Song Competition under the program Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsava and our VI B student Akshara Nikam stood first and made all of us proud.
3. Community Outreach Programs organized under the guidance of Mr Sagar Phutak and Ms Yogita Bhopale and among them Jwellery Design, Feminine Hygiene, Adult Literacy, Road Safety Week , Donation to Orphanage were the most successful.
JVM Ratnagiri had taken part in Swachch Vidyalaya Competition under the
guidance of Ms Yogita and Mr Sagar Sir and we stood at fourth position with
96.82% among eight schools with 5 stars ratings and qualified for State Level.
4. Celebrations: This year total 15 Celebration have been conducted by Celebration committee like Environment Day, Guru Purnima, Independence Day, Diwali, Ganpati, Christmas, Gandhi Jayanti, World Quality Day etc. under the guidance of Ms Pallavi, Ms Diksha Jadhav and Ms Pradnya.
5. Centre of Excellence for Co Scholastic Activities: This year we had conducted total five COE activities in Co Scholastic Areas across all JVMs and they were –
Advertisement, Yoga, Toy making, Photography and Performing Art under the
guidance of Ms Nuha and Ms Dhanashree.
6. EXPOS: Three departmental EXPOs were exhibited and they were of English, Maths
and Hindi Department under the guidance of HODs Mr Victor, Mr Vijay and Mr Mahajan. Glad to share that we had ensured 90% participation in these expos.
7. JVM Students and teachers presented Cultural Program ‘Unity in diversity’ at JVM Night during Jai Vinayak Festival organized by JSW.
8. Eighteen students along with 4 teachers Mr Sanket, Mr Deepak, Mr Ranjit, Ms Diksha Sawant and the Principal attended Inter JVM Event -SAMATVA organized by JET at Bellary. We stood 3rd in Cultural Event, bagged 4 prizes in Art Exhibition and 8 Medals in Sports Events.
Leadership Conference:- Students of JET Students Council had attended the
Leadership Training Program at Vasind sponsored by JET . Three students
Arundhati Bhopale, Gayatri Gadre and Sahil Vehlal along with Mr Vinod attended the program and the same concept and activities had been executed here at Ratnagiri for all the students of Students Council and Grade X and XI.
9. The school has initiated Online Admissions, Digital Monthly Magazine and its flipped version, MCB ERP, E- Library and after school Activities Piano, Karate, Football and Western Dance this year.
Management Initiatives:
The Management has been very supportive throughout the year. With the support of Management, we commenced Senior Secondary School from 2022-23. For this initiative, three separate labs, Biology, Physics and Chemistry have been established. The school has also procured Fire Safety NOC after placing the Fire System. The school had undergone Water Proofing Work, Internal and External Painting Work, Corridor Tiling, Compound Wall repairing and completion work this year including installation of 12 CCTVs.
Proud to share that this year Annual Day program has been organized by the Students Council Members under the guidance of teachers.
Special Awards:
These awards were given by continuous teacher’s observation of all the classes.
This year the committee comprise with Supervisor Deepak Sir, Secondary Coordinator Savita Mam, Primary Coordinator Anita Mam, School Coordinator Rupali Mam, Maths HOD Vijay Sir, Science HOD Kalyankumar Sir, English HOD Victor Sir, Marathi HOD Pallavi Mam, Physical Education HOD Ranjit Sir, Art Teacher Sanket Sir, Music Teacher Dhanashree Madam.
All the Coordinators, HODs had proposed all possible nominations for the awards. Then the voting happened for all the nominations and the one who got maximum votes received the award for that particular category.
The first award is Class X topper of the last year, Master Sahil Rajwadkar who scored 92.6 % in the A.Y. 2021-22.
The second award is ART AWARD, it is given to the student who had done outstanding efforts in Art, shown enthusiasm in all assignments, taken leadership in art work and class throughout the year. The Art Award is given to master Harsh Khade from Class 9th.
Next category that is Basic English Award:
It is given to the student who has demonstrated academic proficiency, as well as a high level of interest and enthusiasm for learning the English language. The Basic English Award is given to Arundhati Bhopale from class 11th Science.
Next Award is Physical Education Award:
The award is given to the student who has earned recognition through excellence in participation, cooperation, respect and leadership. The Physical Education Award is bagged by Miss Kirti Kurte from class 7th.
The last and the best award i.e. Eagle Award:
This award goes to a student who exemplifies the characteristics of Courtesy,
Consideration and Community. Citizenship, Volunteering in and out of the school and leadership skills will be taken into consideration. For this award we look for a student who is involved in a number of school activities while maintaining their academic performance. The Eagle award is given to Ms Kripa R Rawat.
The Best Class Award, this award is given on the criteria based on Discipline, Academics, Behaviour and Punctuality, from the Primary Section this award is given to the class IV B.
And from the Secondary Section the award is given to the class X.
Conclude:
Many milestones have been achieved and still many more have to be achieved. We at JVM will continue our unceasing efforts to mould the young minds into well balanced personalities with confidence and zeal befitting the standards of this portal of education. This report is a sincere attempt to showcase our progress in terms of achievements and activities during the year.
We are drowning in information and starving for wisdom today. Fortunately, we are empowered with demographic dividend knocking on our door. We just need to break the cocoon and let in the beautiful colours of knowledge. In the coming years, we shall successfully channelize the halo of the young minds to explore the best of their abilities.
To conclude we thank the supportive management whose continuous support to our ideology of education has enabled the school to come this far. Teachers and the entire staff members also deserve applause for their tireless efforts in implementing the route map of imparting quality education here. Extended heartfelt thanks to the parents of our students who have shown unflinching faith in us by giving us the profound opportunity to transform their children into truly useful citizens of the future world.
With that, let us foresee a world of universal singularity where our children are going to be the propellant of this change and the world shall be a beautiful place to live in…
