This academic year marks the beginning of a new chapter in my professional journey, and I embrace this responsibility with great optimism, purpose, and commitment. From the moment I stepped onto this campus, I sensed that JVM is not merely a place of instruction, but a living, breathing community of learners. A place where every child is encouraged to think, to question, to create, and to grow. As a new Leader, my mission and vision is clear — to strengthen academic excellence, nurture strong character, and create an environment where every child feels confident, valued, and inspired to become the best version of
themselves.
This spirit of growth and aspiration is beautifully reflected in our Annual Day theme for this year “Udaan – Kal, Aaj, Kal.” , For which the entire teaching and students fraternity of JVM, Ratnagiri has plunge into their best of the skills and ability to make this evening unforgettable for you all.
JVM has this as a legacy to come up higher every year with unique Ethos and we stand firmly to prepare our children to soar into the future with courage and confidence. This vision always open a new doors for our loving Children to show best of their potentials every year. To share the same with you with the highest honour I now take this privilege of presenting the Annual Report for the Academic Year 2025–26 — a story and reflection of a year filled with dedication, achievement, and continuous progress by our students, teachers, and the entire JVM family.
Dear Parents to Begin with, I would like to share our CBSE BOARD RESULTS 2024-2025
I now take pride in sharing the excellent performance of our students in the CBSE Board Examinations.
2. In Class X, Master Darsh Raje emerged as the School Topper with an outstanding score of 93.8%, setting a high benchmark of academic excellence in the Zone.
· In Class XII Science, Master Aditya Chavan secured the 1st Rank with 84.4%, demonstrating strong analytical ability and perseverance.
· In Class XII Commerce, Ms. Laiba Makhjankar achieved the 1st Rank with 85.6%, reflecting commendable subject mastery and determination.
These achievements are the result of the sincere hard work of our students, the committed guidance of our teachers, and the continuous support of our parents.
During the year, our students, under the guidance of committed mentors, excelled across academic, cultural, and co-curricular domains.
· The Science Department team secured 1st and 4th positions at VPM’s Maharishi Parshuram College of Engineering – PRAKALP 2025.
· In Arts, 14 students appeared for the Elementary Art Grade Examination and 8 students for the Intermediate Art Grade Examination.
· During Rangotsav, 225 students participated, with 125 qualifying for the International Level, under the guidance of Mr. Sanket.
· Humera Temkar and Isha Adav (Grade IV) received the Rajyastariy Hirakpankh Award for Bulbul, and 7 students earned the Golden Arrow Award, under Ms.Pramodini and Mr. Snehal.
· 8 students earned the prestigious IAYP Bronze Award.
· Om Joshi, Jai Belgaonkar, and Muzamil Mulla represented JVM at the AFS National Meet, Karnataka, accompanied by Mr. Vinod.
· 154 students participated in National and International Olympiads — IEO, IMO, NSO, IGKO, and ICSO.
· Jui Gadre (Grade IX) secured 1st Position at the Taluka Level Dance Competition and a Consolation Prize at the State Level Marathi Speech Competition.
· Om Joshi (Grade IX) secured 1st position in JMUN – IIMUN Talent Show at Bellari.
3. MAJOR EVENTS & SCHOOL PROGRAMMES
The year witnessed several impactful learning initiatives.
· A 10-day Spoken English Programme for Grades VI–VIII engaged 53 students, conducted by Mr. Vinod and the English Department.
· The Science Exhibition, held in honour of Late Shri O. P. Jindal Sir, showcased 107 models by students of Grades I–XII, achieving 98% participation, under HOD Mr. KalyanKumar Tiwari and his team.
· A 15-day Mountaineering Camp at Manali involved 10 students, guided by Mr. Mahajan and Ms. Dhanashree.
· The Student Council, comprising 19 student ministers, was formed through electronic elections, guided by Mr. Vinod and Ms. Yogita.
· Students of Grades V–VII joined a Coastal Clean-up Drive at Undi Beach, guided by Ms. Sanju, Ms. Promodini, Mr. Ranjit, Pradnya, and Snehal.
· A successful Library Expo was also coordinated by Ms. Manisha.
· For the first time, JVM organised a vibrant Garba Night for mothers, parents, and children, led by the Student Council under the guidance of Sir Deepak.
· Another first-ever initiative was the Children’s Day Funfair, organised by the Pre-Primary Department and Student Council, under the guidance of Sir Deepak.
· 10 students along with Sir Shriraj and Maam Anita attended JMUN – IIMUN at Bellari in December. In which our students were recognized and appreciated in various chapters
Sports Achievements
Sports always remain an integral part of student development at JVM, fostering discipline, teamwork, and perseverance.
· During the year, the school conducted 8 Inter-House Games, participated in 1 CBSE Game and 6 SGFI Games, and organised 18 sporting events as part of the Annual Sports Day, ensuring maximum student involvement.
· Neer House claimed the Best House Trophy with a total of 310 points in Sports. Congratulations to Mentors Mr Snehal and Ms Sanchita.
4. Major Achievements:
· Shravan Kedari (Grade VIII) secured 2nd Position in the 100m race and was selected for the District Level Competition.
· The School Relay Team secured 1st Position and qualified for the District Level Championship held at Dervan.
· Devarshi Kasar (Grade VIII) secured 2nd Position in Rifle Shooting (Peep Sight), represented the school at the Zonal Level, Kolhapur, and has been selected for the State Level Competition at Nagpur.
· The Under-14 Boys and Under-17 Girls Basketball Teams secured 3rd Position at the SGFI District Level Basketball Competition, Ratnagiri. 
· This year our Pre-Primary wing truly sparkled with joyful learning and cheerful experiences, where every day was filled with curiosity, creativity, and laughter.
· 7 Special Days including Colour Days, Father’s Day, Independence Day and others were celebrated to nurture social values and cultural awareness.
· 7 Inter-Class Competitions such as Hindi Recitation, Iconic Dialogue, English Conversation, Prop Rock, Fancy Dress, Origami & Clay, and Handwriting strengthened language skills, confidence, and creativity.
· Our Tiny Tots explored 3 Theme-Based Activities — Rainy Season, Animal World, and School Tour — promoting experiential learning.
Beyond the classroom, students actively participated in 11 CCA and CBSE Competitions, ranging from Taluka-Level Recitation and District-Level Essay Writing to Video Making, Drawing, and Art Competitions, under the guidance of CCA In-charge Ms. Dhanashree.
Celebrations and Important Days To cultivate national pride and cultural awareness, the school observed 8 important national and cultural days, including Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Jayanti, Independence Day, Ganesh Chaturthi, Navratri, Dussehra, Diwali, and Lokmanya Tilak Birth Anniversary.
The upcoming celebrations include Republic Day, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Jayanti, and Savitribai Phule Birth Anniversary, coordinated by the Celebration Department.
5. To foster Eco Club Activities:
The Eco Club conducted 8 activities such as Earth Day, Safai Bank, Van Mahotsav, and the Dolphin Conservation Awareness Programme, efficiently guided by Ms. Shabaz Hodekar, Ms. Shruti Surve, and Mr. Victor D’Souza, nurturing environmental responsibility among students.
It’s time to highlight Teacher’s training and achievements:
· Ms. Sanju Sharma completed the Guide Advance Course, and Ms. Pradnya Medhekar completed the Guide Basic Course, qualifying as Scout and Guide Masters.
· Mr. Vinod Pillai completed a two-day Training of Trainers certification course, authored two books — CBSE Class XII Physical Education Capsule and Poetic Lens, and secured a Gold Medal in Table Tennis at the Ratnagiri District Teachers Competition.
· Mr. Shriraj More authored the speculative fiction novel Gleam from the Abyss.
· Ms. Mithila More secured 1st Position in 100m running, 1st Position in Table Tennis, 2nd Position in 500m walk, and 2nd Position in Carrom at the Ratnagiri District Teachers Competition.
· The school conducted 7 teachers’ training programmes (four in-house and three CBSE trainings) for all teachers covering 24 hours, along with two training sessions for service staff, ensuring continuous growth across the entire school community.
