Jindal VidyaMandir at Salav under the aegis of Jindal Education Trust (A JSW Foundation initiative) is registered as Youth Engaging Centre (YES) and are Licensed Operator for the International Award for Young People (IAYP), whichis a full member of the The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Association. The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award is a non-formal education and learning framework operating in more than 130 countries and territories around the world, through which young people’s achievements outside of academia are recognised and celebrated.The Award is an exciting self-development programme available to all young people worldwide, equipping them with life skills to make a difference to themselves, their communities and the world.
The Award Programme fits seamlessly into the JET Schools’ curriculum as JET school envisioned, “Every day, every child, a leader” with a Mission, “To raise children as thinkers who take ownership of their learning, practice being respectful and compassionate towards all, and aspire to find solutions to existing problems of the world”.
Further, school will strive to engage community children in the programme.
Our revered Chairperson, MrsSangita Jindal featured in the latest IAYP Newsletter (I AM # WORLDREADY) whereby she laid stress on principles of community livingas increasing nuclear familyculture rarely gives young children this experience.
